Fourteen year old Maddie stomped into the apartment closely followed by her parents.
“We’re not finished discussing this.”
Maddie turned around. “You mean you’re not finished lecturing me.”
“Madeleine,” her mother warned.
“On Earth, kids learn to drive a car at fourteen,” Maddie challenged.
“Only in some parts and we’re talking about driving a car versus flying a machine in space. Besides they still have to drive with someone who has a license,” her Mother said.
“Fine, I won’t fly the jumper until you say I can. Happy?”
“Go to your room.”
Maddie spun around and stomped into her room.
“This is your fault.”
John scowled. “What did I do?”
“You made flying a jumper cool.”
“Well it is cool. I haven’t even taught her to fly one.”
“Someone did,” Elizabeth frowned.
“Rodney!”
