I really like Alex having a daughter. Her journey is so different from Sam's bc she KNOWS (or at least thinks she knows) what is going on, and in a place where it would be so easy to just stay, I like that she has something to fight to get back for, and for that to be something more than a bf. But it does torment me - I want Alex and Gene to live Happily Ever After Omfg! But I also want Alex to get back to Molly. *is torn* Lol.
I think it was a snippet of the commentary that I read where they said they had thought about saying what happened to Annie, and the scene with Alex and Ray talking about Sam being longer, but in the end they decided against it.
