More Ashes To Ashes

I've watched the first three episodes of Ashes To Ashes. Something that surprised me was that they showed scenes without Alex in them. All through LOM all scenes were from Sam's point of view.

I'm surprised that Alex has a daughter. I guess that means she'll probably return to her own time in the end.

Oh and Sam is dead. Wow. I wonder what happened to Annie.

Off to watch ep. 4.

Ooh, I'd never noticed that.

I really like Alex having a daughter. Her journey is so different from Sam's bc she KNOWS (or at least thinks she knows) what is going on, and in a place where it would be so easy to just stay, I like that she has something to fight to get back for, and for that to be something more than a bf. But it does torment me - I want Alex and Gene to live Happily Ever After Omfg! But I also want Alex to get back to Molly. *is torn* Lol.

I think it was a snippet of the commentary that I read where they said they had thought about saying what happened to Annie, and the scene with Alex and Ray talking about Sam being longer, but in the end they decided against it.

Oh me too. Love your icon. Every time she uses air quotes and says his name has me laughing. :D

I think I may need to get a multi-regional DVD player because I want this show on DVD now. I have LOM on DVD, but I can only watch it on my computer atm.

One question I've been wondering about after watching this and another British show, what is the home office?

The Home Office is the government department responsible for immigration, counter-terrorism, police, drugs policy, and related science and research.
