Thoughts on my latest fic

I'm not sure where I want to go with my Moments in Time Weir/Lorne fic. Vague spoilers for The Return behind the cut. My last part was set during The Return. I'm thinking of writing a couple more missing scenes within that ep. But I don't know what to do after that. I could make up a conclusion, but I don't know what I would write.

I'm not sure I want to make some scenes where the team get to Atlantis or just jump ahead with the aftermath. And I don't know what I want to write as being the aftermath. And I really don't want to wait six months or however long it's going to be to find out what happens.

And I think I need to find more places to post this fic.

So far I've mentioned the group of Ancients kicking them out of Atlantis in Moment 8. It could get tricky if I don't include some speculation if I skip to them having Atlantis back. Like what happened to the Ancients? I suppose I could have them all ascend.

I'm actually finding Lorne pretty easy to write. He's basically a blank page and there's not much chance tptb will write anything about him that will contradict what I've written. His dry sense of humor is about the only thing I find a little tricky.

John's actually the hard one to write for me. And I'm surprised how easily I've been able to write Elizabeth. I just stay away from focusing on her proffessionally. I'll leave that to melyanna :D

You're right about the rare pairings. Although even the Ronon/Weir comm. seems to be getting more than Weir/Lorne comm is getting. And no one has responded to my fic on the Weir/Lorne comm. And I may start to beg for feedback.

I was looking at some picture last night and got ideas for McKay/Weir/Sheppard icons, and even some McShep ones that would give people on the S/W thread a heart attack *lol*.

Giggles. Now that I'd love to see.

I think I'm rather fickle when it comes to romantic pairings. S/W is a pairing that if I thought tptb were capable I wouldn't mind seeing it in the show. Although there's a large part of me that really doesn't want to see any cannon pairing because then I can play around with what ever pairing I want in fanfic. I think that works for a show like SGA.

A show like Numb3rs which is one of my favorites has cannon ships which is really well done and I have no interest in playing around with ships for it. The writers are doing just fine on their own.
