It was a rather anti-climactic departure if he's leaving for good. And the whole Sarah/Grissom thing was really odd at the end.

I have been losing interest in the show since last season and I don't watch every episode. I just happened to hear on the radio yesterday morning that he was leaving so I decided to watch it out of curiosity.
