Books

I finished the Torchwood book Twilight Streets. I loved. Wished it wasn't over. But now I have a new book. Dog Gone It. It's from the point of view of a dog. It's in first person. The dog shares about his life with his owner who is a private investigator. So far it's a really fun read.

(no subject)

I got the book SGA Exogenesis for Christmas. I started reading it on Christmas day and I finished it yesterday. It's the first book I've been able to get into for a long time. I don't know what that says about me.

And now I'm wondering if anyone has any other SGA books they've read that they can recommend.

Princess Bride

I just started reading The Princess Bride. I've of course seen the movie a few times. The book isn't what I expected. Read more... )

A friend gave me another book for my birthday and I read a few pages of it. Now I'm hooked on it. So now I have three books in progress. Although I haven't read anymore of the third one for a while now. I need to get The Princess Bride read because it is a library book.

Books

I went to Barnes & Noble today. My Dad was telling me that in the CD section they had headphones and this thing where you take a CD and run the bar code under the scanner and you can get a sample of all the songs on the CD. I wouldn't want to buy a CD from there (too expensive) but it's a nice way to know what you're getting from the CD.

I wanted to get a book, but I have no idea what to read. I ended up getting Jane Austen's Emma. I saw a movie version of it once and liked it so I thought I'd see how the book was. I don't think I've ever read anything by Jane Austen.
