Shakes head

A few years ago the church I went to was able to get a wheelchair accessible bus. It was a small church and there were plenty of people to volunteer to drive the bus every Sunday to pick up elderly people who couldn't drive or disabled people who didn't or couldn't drive.

Last year they had shut down the church for financial reasons and many of us went to the larger church which founded the smaller church I had been attending. Ever since it has been a struggle to find people willing to drive the bus every Sunday. And this Sunday will be the last Sunday they will be running the bus.

It's so frustrating. Now those of us who have ridden the bus have to find other ways to get to church.

Ask the Priest/Minister to make this subject part of his sermon. If volunteering to do this service is not what being a Christian is all about, then I don't know what is. Maybe they all need to be shamed into remembering that.
