Virtuality

I watched the FOX networks pilot for Virtuality tonight. I don't know if it's going to be picked up is definitely canceled. What ever way they go I doubt I'll be watching if it continues. I had zero feeling for any of the characters.

If I understand correctly, Virtuality was a pilot for a TV series that didn't get picked up. So they just decided to air the pilot as a TV movie.

I saw an article posted at GW today in the General Sci Fi section that made it sound like it might continue. Not that I'm all that interested. :D

Huh. I thought it was pretty much dead. Well, considering the ratings show that it got beat by pretty much everything last night except CW repeats, I kinda doubt it has a future.

In the article it called it a backdoor pilot. They didn't say what that meant but I took it to mean it was kind of a wait and see what the ratings are for the pilot. That's my best guess.

I'm not surprised about the ratings. Not just for the quality of the show, but I only just stumbled upon it last night when I was looking to see if there was anything on to watch. I remember reading an article about it in TV Guide when the information about new shows for this recent season were coming out. That was of course late last year so I completely forgot about it.
