Torchwood Day 3

I actually got to watch tonight's Torchwood when it aired. :D

This episode I found to be a bit tedious in places. When Frobisher was talking with the alien the pauses went on a bit too long for me.

Other than that the ending I did not see coming. It was funny how Jack answered why he gave the children over to the aliens in 1965. He said 'as a gift' in a tone that said to me at least 'isn't it obvious?' I don't know, it just struck me as an odd delivery. It'll be interesting to see the fallout from this little revelation.

ETA: I forgot to add that Doctor Who's Planet of the Dead is premiering this Sunday. Is very curious.

My favorite part of the whole episode- getting Ianto in that gray pinstripe trouser/waistcoat combination. By far one of my favorite looks for him in the entire series. GDL needs to steal that costume! :)

And yay for DW! I really enjoyed Planet of the Dead. It's better than The Next Doctor imo.

This episode terrified me. I thought the pauses and silence were brilliant because they resisted the urge to then do something to make you jump, which just ups the tension. I was actually really quite scared.

Episode 4 though...bloody hell.

Oooo Planet of the Dead is great =D I really loved it. Better than The Next Doctor in my opinion :)

I must have a high tolerance for creepy then because it just wasn't all that creepy for me. :D My mom and a friend of hers have a low tolerance though so I don't think they'd care to watch this. Sometimes they'll ask me if I think something will be too much for them but now I just shrug my shoulders having no clue how much is too much.

Planet of the Dead looks good from the previews. And yeah The Next Doctor was okay but nothing special.
