Simplicity

I happened upon an episode of Numb3rs from 2006 a few days ago. In the scene Charlie was demonstrating some math idea he had for the case Don was working on. In this episode Charlie simply used a bunch of books to illistrate his point.

Looking at the show last season and this season I really miss the simple way Charlie would explain his ideas. I've just never really liked this change to animated visuals and such.

I hate to say it but I've given up on Numb3rs this season. it doesn't seem to have the same life, heart and spark that it did in earlier seasons :(

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. I think this is why I stay away from watching the old episodes of most shows because I'm afraid I'll realize how bad it has really become.
