Would people please stop comparing Stargate Universe to Babylon 5. They are not alike. Babylon 5 is so much more awesome than Stargate Universe could ever hope to be. Season 1 of Babylon 5 was still better than Stargate Universe is.

What even brought the idea of comparing those too on?! SGU being supposed to be "dark" or what? That is so far-fetched!

There are people who love SGU who think those that don't like it, it's because it's a serialized show. They point out B5 as a comparison as if because they're both serialized somehow they're the same.

The problem in their logic is that as someone who doesn't like SGU I think it is a poorly done serialized show. B5 had more interesting things (not to mention interesting characters) happening in one ep. than in 7 eps. of SGU

S1 of B5 may not have been its best but it was full of interesting likable characters I wanted more of.

Well apparently you can compare anything if you really want to...as I said I'm just gonna stay away from the crazy people, they're not interested in my opinion anyway.

And I agree on Babylon 5...in the end it always comes down to the quality of the characters and SGU's is just done poorly.

Yeah, though sometimes the crazy people amuse me :D but they're down right annoying now. And GW has gotten a lot of new people lately and some just don't know how to behave.
