Worst Awards Show Ever

After two hours of the People's Choice Awards I think I may have lost a few IQ points.

I don't know how these things get nominated but "the people" have mostly had bad taste when voting In this award show IMO.

And then I spent the two hours waiting for a particular category only to find it wasn't presented on the show. Finally later when I looked for the answer on the Internet I find it was another show that won and not the one I liked. So "the people's" choice for favorite TV obsession is one about a serial killer whose victims are alleged serial killers. Sorry to any Dexter fans on my flist.

At the very least Hawaii Five-0 won for favorite new TV series.

Yeah, I didn't watch, but I was glad to hear that H5-0 won at least.

And I'm with you on the Dexter thing. Each to their own of course, but I don't get the appeal.

Yeah. White Collar was nominated for favorite Tv obsession. I think I prefer it if the protagonist is a criminal it's for bond forgery, not murder. ;-)

I watched for the Levi, stayed for the Depp, then went to bed. I really didn't need any more Queen Latifah.

I kinda felt bad for Queen Latifah. It seemed to me she was just given bad material.

The whole "this is for the people!" screaming bit got old reaaaaallly fast.

I usually like Latifah, but her schtick got old real quick.

What happened to presenting awards? Most of the show was spent in the crowd making celebrities feel completely uncomfortable. The People (who this show is for) shouldn't have to go to the website to find out who won a majority of the awards the PCA gives out...that was ridiculous.

Oh, and the general public has awful taste (IMHO) given most of the winners.
