Tao of Rodney

I just loved this episode. I keep watching the last nine minutes in particular. Where Rodney is in John's room trying to meditate again and ends up collapsing.

I think one of the problems with McKay in season two was that he was often alone in scenes. If he's interacting with one or all of his teammates I think he's more toned down.

I am so happy with the Elizabeth/Rodney interaction this season. It was sorely lacking last season. They have such a great friendship. She's such a big sister to him. He does seem to have a bit of a crush on her at times, but I almost feel like he knows that's not what their relationship is about and he's okay with it. Still he does kind of have a crush on her. I'm not sure that made sense.

And I have a sudden urge to write Sheppard/McKay fic.

I think everyone else pretty much said it all. Great character moments with everyone.

Not always, but I think there were some scenes in s2 when McKay was alone or not with his team that didn't. The others just seem to balance him out a bit. As much as I love him he can be a bit too much at times for me. And he really should interact with the others because he has so much chemistry with everyone.

I really can't wait to see this ep. on my 27" TV.

I find myself wishing that Rodney went EVUL

Because, let's face it, if Liz and Shep can do it, Rodney should have gone Angry!Almost!Ascended! on the Wraith and just freakin' took care of the whole stupid storyline.

Plus, then, TOTAL bragging rights with Super Sam. "hey blondie, you blew up a sun? pffft! I ended an entire race of energy sucking vampires, throughout and entire Galaxy. bitch."

I feel a fic coming on, anyone else?
