My sister left Saturday to return to North Carolina. It was nice to have her around. I wish we had more time so she and I could have done something together. Unfortunately she had only so much time to see many different people and it was a working vacation for her. All she needs to work is her laptop and wireless internet connection.

erisedx and xfkirsten should find this interesting. I found out a friend of my family got a job at Pixar and is a producer or associate producer for their first live action film coming in Jan. or Feb.

Finally the Shep/Weir thread at Gateworld seems to be back on track discussing....umm what was it again? Oh right Sheppard/Weir ship.

I'm glad the discussion was taken to pm's (heh, wrote that as pms. Not surprising since I'm having pms at the moment. :D).

As far as I'm concerned I'll just keep posting on s/w thread behaving myself. Unless and until I get a pm from a mod or mod snip I'm not going to worry about it.

I've really only seen someone post something that I found utterly repugnant once and I reported it as I'm sure others did. No one responded to the thread thankfully and the individual was immediately kicked off GW and the threads were deleted as they should be.

Most nasty comments I just ignore. I just don't care what others say in the threads I'm not interested in.

This friend who works at Pixar had another job opportunity, but it didn't have anything to do with her field even though it would pay better. She talked to her sister-in-law who told her she really should take the Pixar job. She would have been crazy not to.
