I got a nice surprise today. I noticed Doctor Who s3 is premiering tonight. I hadn't seen a single advertisement for it.

I wouldn't get too excited about it :(
I'm not gonna be a downer on you, because you might enjoy it. Doc Who season 3 was exactly how I don't want SGA season 4 to turn out like.

Hope you are happy happy well though :D

LOL, I've noticed some grumblings about the season on the internet. I'm not that in love with the show anyway so it's not gonna bother me much if it's not all that great. It's the kind of show I'll watch an episode and I won't dwell on it if it's not all that great.

I think I like s1 so far the most. Scifi is rerunning some s2 episodes today, but I'm not feeling really compelled to watch them again even though it's been practically a year since I've seen them.

I don't relate to the Doctor at all and he can sometimes really irritate me. I watched a few minutes of The Satan Pit and find him to be a bit closed minded surprisingly and arrogant. Just because he can't conceive of something in his own mind he was certain it was impossible. Oh well enough of my rambling. :D

s1 was brilliant. The whole season. Awesome.
s2 was good as well and a little more light hearted than the first season.
The problem with s3 is that me and my sister totally adored Rose, so we never accepted the new girl.
We were sobbing wrecks during the last episode of s2. I think that was almost like the end for us there. It felt like a series ending, because when there's only 2 main characters and you lose one then it just becomes something totally different.

I'm curious though so I still watched. I couldn't help myself :P

Since I knew the show had a long history of companions coming and going as well as Doctors I figured I'd better prepare for the changes that might come. Although I didn't expect it to happen this fast. I think I was more torn about the change in Doctor. I just loved Christoper Eccelston. Not that David Tennant isn't great too in his own way.
