Everybody my age is married with kids. I went to a friend's house warming party today. She's married and has a baby just under a year. Most of their friends are couples with kids.

I don't want to marry or have kids. Yes, I know how shocking for a woman to say such a thing. :p I just want some friends I can relate to.

I'm in my late 30's and I'm neither married nor have children, and I don't really have plans to remedy that anytime soon. ;p There was a period of time were my Mom's friends were trying to set me up because they couldn't get it into their heads that I was not dating ON PURPOSE. They we're just baffled by me. So you are not alone.
