Everybody my age is married with kids. I went to a friend's house warming party today. She's married and has a baby just under a year. Most of their friends are couples with kids.

I don't want to marry or have kids. Yes, I know how shocking for a woman to say such a thing. :p I just want some friends I can relate to.

Hey. I know I'm late responding, but wanted to say I know how you feel. I'm single and in my 30s, and all my friends are married with kids. It's rather lonely, and I've kind of lost touch with a lot of them. :( But I really don't have any desire to get married or have kids. I might change my mind on the married part if the right guy were to come along, but I don't see it happening, and I've always believed that being single is much much better than being in an unhappy marriage, even if it is a little lonely sometimes. And as far as kids, definitely not changing my mind on that one. I think of kids as tiger cubs. Adorable and cuddly, but at the end of the day you want to leave them in the zoo with their mother and go home alone to your three cats. :D LOL. I'm not sure I'm making any sense at all. I'm just rambling. Anyway, what I'm saying is you're definitely not alone in your situation. ((hugs))

No, you made perfect sense. I feel the same way about kids. It's like I don't feel pressured into these things, but at the same time everyone seems to be doing the whole getting married and having babies.
