How can a show be considered a failure if it's been on for 10 years before it's canceled?

Who's saying it was a failure? I am glad it went off before it became stale. This way were left wanting more.

How can a show that had managed to revive itself with a new cast, when it's main big name left, and be better than ever, get cancelled while it's now crappy sister show changes it's cast and goes completely trashy? That's what I want to know.

Depends on what they mean by failure...

Although, I tend to agree generally. It was on for 10 years, that's gotta say something...

Heh but it was canceled because changed were bad and popularity declined.
I see the same thing happening to Atlantis... so I'm sure season 5 is the last one.
