Midway 4x17

Midway was a much better episode than last week’s. I don’t mind cross-overs with SG-1 characters as long as the SG-1 characters aren’t taking over (Return II anyone?).

I think we found someone who makes Dr. Lee look like a breath of fresh air. Kavanaugh! And putting them together made me love Rodney even more. (As if I hadn’t already adored Rodney)

Oh we got our quota of IOA jackass in Coolidge, but I guess Ronon saving his ass endeared Ronon to him. :P

In the end I wished Rodney had joined John in the front of the Jumper. I guess you could say they’re my fall-back OTP. :D Oh yeah, I read Rodney called John Shep in this episode. I’m going to have to watch it again to hear that for myself.

I just don't like the idea of Ronon having to be taught by Teal'c. It totally undermines Ronon's character.
Still unsure if I'm going to watch this ep.

Last weeks wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. The plot was shite. Rodney was cool though. And I actually liked Keller. And Rodney/Keller was a hell of a lot more convincing than Ronon/Keller.
And if all fails then Keller can give Rodney dating tips for when he makes his move on Evan ;)

On the one hand they've always portrayed Ronon as a hot head and there was a scene where Teal'c casually begins to ask him questions which wind up having Ronon pissed off and aiming his gun at Teal'c. Teal'cs intent was to act like the IOA to show how Ronon would react and shouldn't react.

There is the fact that he was in his military on Sateda and so yeah to me it would be nice if that part of Ronon would come back some more. It should be a part of him and that should temper his attitude. I can understand it being absent after seven years being on the run from the Wraith, but he has returned to "civilization". I'd like to see some of that rubbing off.

As far as Trio goes, I just can't get into an episode that has my two least favorite characters on the show. When it comes to Carter and Keller I just can't be fair with them.

I hate to push, but do you have that song for me yet? What program do you use for converting the songs?
