200 and TRW
A few thoughts on this last Friday's eps. of Stargate: SG-1 and Atlantis.
I don't have much to say about SG-1's 200. It had its moments. Jack is Cam's dad hilarious. The wedding scene. The slash joke was good.
I couldn't help but cringe at Sam calling Jack sir though. I'm not a shipper for those two so I wasn't bothered by the scene much.
Jack showing up in the last fifteen minutes annoyed me. I would have liked more, but then again I probably would have been disappointed anyway.
As they were about to go through the gate at the end I didn't understand what was going on with that conversation between Landry and Harrimon.
I didn't much care for the last part with the Wormhole Extreme guys. I loved how the ep. Wormhole Extreme ended, but it didn't work for me here. Guess I had a little more to say than I thought. :D
On to Atlantis and TRW.
I really enjoyed this ep. I'm not a big fan of a single character trapped somewhere away from the rest of the cast. It had some good moments and Torri did a great job, but I was glad when we got to Atlantis.
I thought it was pretty obvious it was John trying to get through to Elizabeth right from the beginning. The scene where she approaches the privacy curtain in her hospital room was rather creepy though.
I loved Jack in this ep. Too bad he wasn't real. This is the Jack I've been wanting to see for a long time. And now I can see the Jack/Elizabeth.
Loved the scene where John ripped open the barrier to Elizabeth. Would he have done the same for the others? Absolutly. Did I find it shippy though? Absolutly. That said, I'm not going to say if people don't see the ship between these two they're crazy.
Then again they did get a scene with just the two of them together at the end. ;D
