Hee. Just saw Chris Judge and the actor who played Kawalski from SG-1 on The Mentalist.

I turned the TV to the Syfy channel a little bit ago. There's a show called 'Hollywood Treasure'. The people on the show find and auction off tv and movie items.

They had Christopher Judge who played Teal'c on to authenticate a Jaffa suit. Serpent's head and everything.

Oh man the auctioneer Mis-pronounced Jaffa pronouncing the J as a y.

Anyway the suit was sold for $14,000.

Now they're at Comic Con looking for items.

Confused

It's been awhile since I've seen the Stargate SG-1 s7 episodes Heroes 1 & 2 but as far as I can recall there was nothing in the two part episodes that indicated it was Sam's fault that Janet was shot and killed. I don't understand how some people come to this conclusion.

This came from listening to Gateworld's most recent podcast talking about the women of Stargate and the person who said this about Sam said it as if it were fact.

I was watching an episode of MacGyver last night and saw the actor who played Apophis in the episode. Some of the seasons of MacGyver were done in Vancouver so there are a lot of actors who had been on SG-1 had also been on MacGyver.

I watched Stargate SG-1 s2-3 episodes Out Mind and Into the Fire.

The good old days )

I think I'm gonna go and have myself a little cry now.

I changed the color of my LJ today. It was getting hard to read links. The color of the words in the links almost matched the color of my LJ.

I want to put something in my side bar, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that nor am I sure what I want to put there yet. I'm too tired today to do anything anyway.

On another silly rant. No spoilers. Stargate ) Just my humble opinion. ;D

I have an sg-1 Rodney McKay related question. Did he go back to Russia after Redemption 1 and 2 and if so, was he still there when he got involved in Antarctica? And while I'm asking, was he still in Russia just before Returning to the SGC in Redemption 1?

On a completely unrelated note. Is it just me or does anyone elses mind go to Hewlett-Packard whenever seeing Harry Potter's initials? ;p

SG-1, SGA

I finally have the computer back on after several hours having it off. Around two this afternoon the weather started to get bad. We had a tornado warning and then a severe thunderstorm. Same thing happened yesterday minus the tornado warning in my area at least. Other parts of Iowa weren't as lucky though I don't if any serious damage was caused.

I finished watching the series finale of Stargate SG-1 (boy is that strange to say) and the season finale of SGA.

SG-1 as I've said before has never made me cry although it's made me a bit sad at times. I think this episode had me the closest to tears as I've ever been with it. spoilers )

The preview at the end of the SGA episode for s4 had me excited for the next season. Which is great because a preview earlier in the evening kind of annoyed me even though I understand why they did what they did. S4 preview spoilers behind cut. s4preview )

I've recently caught bits of old SG-1 episodes. Cor-Ai and then today Tin Men. Sigh, I miss the old Jack. The Jack that took things seriously and was present in more than body. As opposed to the clown or the walking zombie he became.

Rumors

So the rumor is rumor )

Oh well, I've run out of steam on this subject. I'm tired of all the extreme fans. But I guess they wouldn't be called fans if they weren't extreme so saying extreme fans is rather redundant. And I need to get back to my Weir/Lorne fic. Moments in Time.

I couldn't resist the title of this post. :D I caught my finger in a kitchen drawer yesterday and when I saw my dad he asked me which one I hurt. It was my middle finger so I pointed it up to show him. And it still hurts like hell.

I liked last night's ep. of Stargate SG-1. Counterstrike )

Stargate Atlantis' Common Ground was a great ep. CommonGround )

A few thoughts on this last Friday's eps. of Stargate: SG-1 and Atlantis.

I don't have much to say about SG-1's 200. 200 )

On to Atlantis and TRW.

Maybe I'm just not made for fandom. People complain about lack of Consequences or fall out for characters. There are those who say character x should be tossed out.

All I can think is this is Stargate. Since the beginning of Stargate SG-1 characters have gotten away with many different things with no more than a slap on the wrist. They create some big conflict between characters and then drop it by the next episode. We're lucky if it ever gets a mention again. And character x will always make decisions based on the needs of the plot. It wouldn't matter if they replaced him with someone else.

Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis are not Babylon 5 or Firefly.

I guess I'm just not one for over thinking these shows. I watch them for the adventurous fun.
