I changed the color of my LJ today. It was getting hard to read links. The color of the words in the links almost matched the color of my LJ.

I want to put something in my side bar, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that nor am I sure what I want to put there yet. I'm too tired today to do anything anyway.

On another silly rant. No spoilers. Jack and Daniel's friendship was not destroyed and John and Rodney's friendship isn't being destroyed. Just my humble opinion. ;D

Totally agree with your little bit of stargate rant there :)

It's funny, even though I mostly write shippy fic, I quite often put in those 2 friendships in if I can.
I'm just writing an angsty Daniel/Vala fic and it ended up including Jack as a very central point.

And people are silly. Friendships can't be destroyed. True friendships live on forever in the heart. I know that for sure.

I guess everyone has their different ideas of how a certain friendship should be portrayed and how much there should be on screen. For some there's not enough and for others it's just fine.

I might like to read that fic of yours. I kinda like Daniel/Vala and the Jack, Daniel friendship is what pulled me into the show in the beginning.

With John and Rodney it took me a little while to see that friendship, but I started to really get into it interestingly enough about the same time I was seeing John/Elizabeth ship. :D

So true. All the romances in the world aren't going to do a thing for me if there aren't any good friendships. I could just as easily leave romance all together as long as there's good friendship.

This is what I like about S/W ship; it's never portrayed in fandom as obsessive love. Unlike a lot of slash I read as well as even some friendship fic I've read.
