I've seen the first two episodes of Primeval this season which was simple luck. I didn't know it was premiering on January 1st; I has just found while looking to see if the Doctor Who Christmas ep was on--also luck finding that.

I knew Primeval was returning in 2011 I just didn't think it was going to be the first day of the year.

Anyway I have a question. What's the name of the flying lizard Abby found and named and has taken care of from the beginning of the show?

Primeval brought back for 2 more seasons
Primeval has been recommissioned for two series under a new co-production deal between ITV and UKTV.

The arrangement, which also involves BBC America and German broadcaster Pro7, is for a seven-episode fourth series and a six-episode fifth.

ITV1 will premiere series four in early 2011, while Watch will have the first run of series five later that year. ITV1 will then broadcast series five.

While I'm thrilled it's being brought back for two more seasons, 2011? Why such a long wait?

I watched Primeval this weekend. S3 Ep. 3. ( Spoilers )

I had a dream last night that I went to my High School class reunion. For some reason it was a twelve year reunion. It's actually been fourteen years since I graduated. At one point in the dream I was talking to this guy who was one of my classmates. In my dream he looked like he did when I went to school with him. I don't remember who it was now though. While I was talking with the guy my dad was sitting across the room waiting for me to finish talking to this guy so he could drive me home. My dad had a mustache ( he used to have one when I was a kid) and a hideous suit that looked like a reject from the 1970's.

I think this dream came from the fact I was looking for former classmates yesterday on Facebook and then later I was watching a 1970's TV show with my Dad 'McMillan and Wife' starring Rock Hudson. And he wore some pretty bad looking suits.

I went to a friend's baby shower last night and won a prize. I got an assortment of strawberry daiquri scented hand soap, body lotion and shower gel. The baby shower was held in the fellowship hall of the church I attended as a kid and was confirmed. It's been over fifteen years since I've been there.

I saw the episode of Primeval with the big scorpions. The big bug that came through that Abby and Connor had to chase reminded me of this bug that comes into my house in the summer. Of course it's only a fraction of the size of the one Abby and Connor were chasing. Um I hate Caroline. I really hate Caroline.

BBrrr, it's a chilly day. I may have to turn the heat on.

I'm taping several episodes of Doctor Who S1 today. My favorite season.

Saturday's episode of Primeval was good. A bit surprising too. Cutter kissed Claudia. Didn't see that coming. And everyone knows about Rex now.

I got a haircut today. Not sure I like it. My hairdresser likes to make it puffy. I asked for it to be short on the back and long and angled on the sides. The sides are curled under along my face. And the sides are a little shorter than what I intended. She seems to prefer to make my hair softer around the edges instead of straight and angled.

I was so pissed at Toby a few minutes ago. I had the refrigerator opened and he plopped himself down on the inner side of the door. So I couldn't shut the door unless he moved, but he wouldn't move. I pushed him with my hand out of the way, but he got right back up and over there before I could shut the door. He's now bathing himself on my bed as if nothing happened. :p

sazzat I think you mentioned Primeval to me recently. I saw that the series is premiering on BBC America August 9th. I read the synopsis of the first episode. It looks like my kind of show.

And last, it seems I'm writing Keller/McKay fic. Didn't see that coming. Of course it has Beckett as Chief of medicine and Weir running the city. ;-)
