sg_lab2Maybe I'm just not made for fandom. People complain about lack of Consequences or fall out for characters. There are those who say character x should be tossed out.
All I can think is this is Stargate. Since the beginning of Stargate SG-1 characters have gotten away with many different things with no more than a slap on the wrist. They create some big conflict between characters and then drop it by the next episode. We're lucky if it ever gets a mention again. And character x will always make decisions based on the needs of the plot. It wouldn't matter if they replaced him with someone else.
Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis are not Babylon 5 or Firefly.
I guess I'm just not one for over thinking these shows. I watch them for the adventurous fun.
