So the rumor is one or more SG-1 characters will be moved to Atlantis.

Personally I seriously doubt any of the main cast is at risk of being tossed on Atlantis. And I also seriously doubt any main cast will brought from SG-1 to Atlantis.

I remember I think in s9 of SG-1, s2 of Atlantis TPTB were considering having Amanda Tapping on at least ten eps. of Atlantis. Or maybe that was for this season. Well anyway it didn't happen and isn't happening this season. Besides SG-1's AT and MS would be rather expensive to bring to Atlantis.

I understand Mitch Pilleggi has another show possibly so he may leave. I can't say I'd be bothered to see Caldwell go. Loved Mitch as Skinner, but just don't care for Caldwell. They try to make out to be the bad guy, but only make our heroes look bad. Mitchell could fill the position. He wouldn't be around all the time, but I don't want to see them try to use him for conflict among the characters. TPTB don't know how to write conflict between characters that are both suppose to be the good guys as far as I'm concerned. It just makes the heroes look stupid.

Oh well, I've run out of steam on this subject. I'm tired of all the extreme fans. But I guess they wouldn't be called fans if they weren't extreme so saying extreme fans is rather redundant. And I need to get back to my Weir/Lorne fic. Moments in Time.

I agree and I'm not worried about Sheppard, Weir or Mckay. I've seen comments worried about the status of Weir because of a few people at GW who continue to complain about her. I seriously doubt those few people are going to threaten the character's existance on the show.

I'd be more worried about Teyla, Beckett, Caldwell, Zelenka and Lorne.

I've heard both Mitch and Kaven have got other roles so I don't know if they'd have the time for SGA too. I hope Kaven does. We need more Lorne, godamit!

Yes, we need more Lorne. :D I just started renting eps. of The 4400 and have seen Kavan Smith in about three eps now, but it's not enough. :(

That rumour came from...I want to say Shanks but I'm not sure. People have paired that up with what PM said and thus madness was born *sigh*

Oh yeah, it's been so long ago I forgot what season that was suppose to be for.

I just love how a little comment can cause such massive chaos in fandom. :p ;) Reminds me of one season people were freaking out because Shanks I think it was wasn't finished with contract negotiations for the season when the others had.

I'm pretty sure it was bc I seem to recall it coming out around the time of GUP.

I was mistaken. joesmom92 informs me it was Mark Stern - programming director for SciFi - who said SG1 actors might be used on SGA.

Hehe, everytime a tiny tidbit comes out I just have to remember TLG spoiler Damien Kindler let loose and all the wild specualtion that came from that =P

I agree that while I liked him as Skinner, I wasn't a huge fan of him as Caldwell. He just came across as a jerk a lot of the time and I hated the faux UST they tried to generate between him and Elizabeth. *shudder*

Yeah, I was trying to look at that faux UST differently, but that's all I could think it was and it was just..*shudders*
