This really bites. I read that the Blue-ray disc of The X-Files: I Want To Believe has all the good extras. The DVD didn't have much of anything.

I hate how technology seems to improve every fifteen minutes. They expect me to get a blu-ray and replace all my DVD's? No thanks.

Improvements in technology can be a good thing [going from VCR to dvd, for instance] but expecting us to shell out a thousand bucks or so every year to be with the times is ridiculous. I'm so afraid that my dvd player will die in like, five years time and there won't be any more in existence and I'll never be able to watch anything in my tv collection again. *quivers*

I know the feeling. I'm still using a VCR to record things. Mainly those things are for my mom and her friend. And my VCR died on me and I got my sister's VCR, but that's unreliable too.
