I was kind of surprised the relationship was defined specifically. I actually agree with that definition but most shows would be shipping them and therefore never verbally define the relationship. At least not until the end.

That's true but I didn't think of them in a shipping way anyway still felt a bit odd but maybe it's because of what you said, shows usually never say that out loud until the end....

I thought I could make it through without tearing up but when Mrs F. read the last bit to Claudia I just could not not tear up.

I don't think of them in a shipping way either. But I'm always just waiting for the ship to happen even when I see the characters as just friends. It's rare for me to really like a ship.

Most of my flist are die hard shippers. :p of course that's because I got most of you through SGA S/W ;-)

Most shows just work that way and if they run long enough it usually goes that way at least for a little while.

Well, yeah, I like to ship but I wouldn't call myself a die-hard-shipper ;)
