It's Back
The last few days we've been getting a lot of melting. We could even see some grass yesterday. This morning I got up and opened the blinds to find it had snowed maybe three or four inches of more snow.

What's Next?
I was listening to the radio this morning and I learned there is a national texting competition. Not only that there is a high school student in my area who recently won this competition. She was interviewed on the radio this morning although I missed the interview.
Today the temperature is suppose to get up to 36 F. Not a temperature to sneeze at in winter but above freezing temps means melting snow and ice and potential for more leaking. I'm keeping my eyes open for anything today.

It's cold outside
Ick, it's snowing. I was at a friend's house celebrating his birthday with my parents and his family. He lives out in the boonies making even colder compared to in town.
It started snowing pretty good while we were there and when we realized it was snowing we all got ready and left. Brrr.
I've been told we may get blizzard like conditions on Tuesday and several inches of snow.
Last night while it was cold it wasn't too cold just yet. And it wasn't snowing which made it a good night to go out and look at Christmas lights. A friend of mine had a group of people come along and they used the church bus.
It started snowing pretty good while we were there and when we realized it was snowing we all got ready and left. Brrr.

The Snow is Melting
We've had a lot of snow fall in the last couple of weeks and it's been dangerously cold a few days this past week. But today it has warmed up considerably. It's a little over 30 F. And that means melting snow. With the snow I've had ice cicles hanging from my roof which has caused one of my windows to leak.
This happened a few years ago, but then it took awhile to figure out the leaking was caused by the ice cicles and more than one window was leaking then.
So I had the ice cicles knocked off my roof so no more leaking.

TV and stuff
Last night's CSI LV. I think it was called Laying Down With Dogs. ( spoilers )
I'm sitting in my room and the sun is practically blinding me through the window. It's not even on this side of the house yet either. It's reflecting off all the snow in my yard which is why it is blinding me.
I started rewatching Stargate: Atlantis from the beginning last night. I watched The Rising last night. I was going to only watch half of the episode and save the rest for later, but I just got sucked in. Damn, season one was awesome.

It's snowing. First snow of the season. They said we were suppose to get less than an inch. That it would melt immediately and there would be no accumulation.
*Snorts* It's been snowing for close to two hours now with big snowflakes and it is definitely more than an inch. It's not going anywhere for awhile.
