The X-Files is Back
All I can say right now is during the opening credits I had a ridiculous smile on my face. Those young faces of Agents Mulder and Scully on their FBI badges. The Truth is Out There tag line. And that music.

The Return Of The X-Files
I read there are plans to bring The X-Files back for a limited run. I think it's going to be six episodes.
I love the show, but it went down hill in the last few seasons. I can't imagine what they could do with it. Still the idea of having Mulder and Scully on my tv again even for a little while is kind of exciting.
I think I may be the only one who was never really interested in the over arching conspiracy storyline. I preferred the stand alone episodes (filler episodes to everyone else).
There's no date yet, but probably some time during the 2015-2016 season.

Aliens invading my dreams
I don't remember my dreams usually after waking up but I think I dreamt about being held captive by aliens.
Last night I watched V which wasn't all that but it did get a bit gruesome at one point for me. Then I watched an ep of X-Files. I've forgotten how creepy that show can get. The ep title was Grotesque.

X-Files darker in later seasons
Did it seem to anyone that the last year or more of the X-Files seemed darker? Not in tone, but visually. Scifi channel is having a mini marathon of episodes from 2002 today. I caught a few minutes of a couple of episodes and the lighting is so dark as well as the clothes, I could see my reflection on the TV screen just below their faces.
I found it rather annoying. And I don't recall the early years looking like that. Of course I did notice when it was still airing originally that Scully's wardrobe had changed and she was wearing darker clothes in the last few years. I really didn't like that change. It also occurred to me later that Mulder and Scully both seemed to no longer wear their glasses. Or if they did it was very rare.
