These season finales are killing me

NCIS and NCIS LA, what kind of season finales are these. I haven't even been all that into NCIS for a while now and was only half watching the season finale but ( spoilers for season finale )

I received next week's TV Guide and the cover story is about the two ladies on NCIS: Cote de Pablo and Pauley Perrette who play Ziva and Abby respectively with Mark Harmon (Gibbs).

It's an interesting article about Abby and Ziva's respective relationships with Gibbs.

It mentions that moment last season when as Ziva is being welcomed back into the team Gibbs whispers something into her ear. It turns out that was something Mark Harmon added in the moment. Neither actor will say what was said but Cote did say it was something that resonates with her and her character as foreigners and immigrants to the US.

On a final note November should be an interesting month for Abby and Ziva individually.

There was the really funny NCIS commercial last night during the Super Bowl. It's just a general advertisement for the show.

On an unrelated note, kids are going to be going to school through summer the way the winter is going.

I watched the NCIS ep. Call of Silence from s2 guest starring Charles Durning. That episode makes me cry everytime I see it. I don't any other episode of that show has ever made me cry.

I've been watching ABC's Defying Gravity. I'm pretty sure they're going to air all the episodes for this season (there are only 13 eps.) but I don't know if it's going to be renewed. The ratings apparently haven't been all that great. Of course it's on at a terrible night. But I do enjoy it. I'd hate for it to be canceled especially before all the unanswered questions have been answered.

NCIS article

Am I tired. I went and got a Mother's Day card and a birthday card for my mother. It's her birthday this month as well as Mother's Day tomorrow. Then I went with my dad to help him pick out a duvet for my mother. I'm not sure it's what she'll want but oh well, she can always exchange it.

TV Guide's cover story was about Ziva and Tony from NCIS. I think it's next week's edition. There were some comments from Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo.

I don't know why I do this to myself. I always find myself fixing dinner when NCIS is on. But I was smart tonight because I recorded it. I was hoping I'd get done quickly because I didn't make anything big. But then ( Abby ) wanted to play and then ( Toby ) decided to behave badly. So now I have to wait for another twenty minutes before I can see the episode with Torri. :D

Tonight's TV

*Jumps up and down* I finally get to watch NCIS ep. SWAK in it entirety tonight. The first time its aired there was a severe thunderstorm and we got two interruptions about the weather. And then an interruption from the news because of a local shooting that involved the police. Later that season the ep. was suppose to repeat, but got preempted by some last minute news special. I haven't found it since and I didn't feel like renting it because I didn't know what disc it was on.

*Squees* Tonight is Torchwood ep. Adrift. *Points to Icon* 'Nough said. ;)
