About NCIS - that's an interesting idea. My feeling was that Gibbs is wondering what Vance is up to, and why he was jerking him around. But what you said could be too.

I read an article in the TV Guide issue I got today talking about Rocky Carroll who plays Leon Vance and he said at the end of the article when asked if he (Vance) was a good guy or a bad guy that Vance and Gibbs are both patriots. And he left it at that. I read this after making this post.
