A Lot of Flash and Not Much Substance

sg_lab2I tried to watch the pilot episode of Fox's new show Fringe tonight. I found the plot kind of interesting, but I didn't care for any of the characters. If I can't care about the characters I can't get interested in a show.
So after less than an hour of the two hour pilot, changed the channel to watch a couple episodes of House instead. Now there's a show that has characters I can care about. I watched the episode that had House's parents on.
