How People view fictional characters

I was just noticing something with all the talk about what is happening in s4 of SGA. It seems that big fans of a particular character will see the things they don't like about the character as a function of bad writing. While those that really don't like the character seem to critique the character as if they were a real person and should be removed and replaced by some other character.

I know it's not always the case, but I've just noticed this pattern.

Anyway, I'm bored. The Super Bowl is on and there's nothing to watch.

I'm looking for a fic that is about John babysitting Ronon and Teyla's baby. He's in Rodney's lab in the beginning when the baby touches one of Rodney's things in the lab. It's a short fluffy piece with references to John and Elizabeth being married.
