TV and other things

I've had a preying mantis in my house for the last several days and two of my cats found it last night. Abby was chasing it and poking at it. Zoey was following along. When I came back a few minutes later the preying mantis was in the living room in a funky position. I thought they had killed her. But then she moved and Abby chased it into a corner. I haven't seen the preying mantis since. This is the first time I've felt sorry for an insect.

The American version of Life on Mars premieres this Thursday. ( casting comment under the cut )

ETA: The Sci Fi channel has shown the pilot of the new show Sanctuary about a half a dozen times since it premiered last Friday. Plus it was also on the cable channel Bravo. It was pretty good. I love Christopher Hyerdahl in it.

Growing up in the 80's in US

After seeing sapphs and mizz_magenta do it I thought I'd give it a go. Some of the things on this list I don't know and some I'm not so sure apply to the 80's, but it was all I could find.
