sg_lab2Tonight's ep. was The Age of Steel. The Cybermen actually kind of creeped me out a little. Although I found Lumic kind of ridiculous and over the top. He reminded me of the old ep. where all the performances were really OTT. I suppose if I was about twenty years younger all the other bad guys would scare. I found the Dalek in the ep. of the same name something to pity, but not really scary. Although Tooth and Claw was a close one.
I really liked tonight's ep. I was really impressed how they managed to pull on my heart strings. Sally who had been turned into a cyberman really got me. As did the one who later was looking at their reflection and was so devistated by what had happened to them.
I've finally started to like Mickey and they get rid of him. Same thing happened with Capt. Jack. It wasn't until Badwolf that I really started liking Jack and not long after that he's dumped. Now he's on another show that's a spinoff and who knows when I'll get a chance to that.
Rose right now is just kind of there. I don't really have an opinion of her.
I wish SciFi would show previews for the next ep. at the end of each ep. They did for the first couple ep. and then stopped. The same thing happened last season.
I watched Numb3rs tonight. I love that show. They do such a great job of balancing the that is investigated in a given ep. with the characters' personal lives as well as the relationships among all of the characters.
