Some random thoughts of this great season premiere. Glad they started the episode where it last ended.
I liked Josh and understand his reaction towards Castle. I feel bad for him. He wasn't a bad guy, he just wasn't the right guy for Kate.
Alexis has gotten fierce, I like that.
Knowing Kate remembered everything I can understand her staying away for so long. I really her liked her conversation with Castle after all those weeks apart.
I loved how she acknowledged this wall she had put up after her mother's murder. I feel like she really wants to break down that wall. I've always known it will take the solving of her mother's murder before she has a chance to move on and have the kind of relationship she wants.
I think in her own way if only to herself she acknowledged her feelings for Rick.
I gotta say I liked that the new captain was not backing down about Beckett requalifying for her weapon. Too often lead characters get away with too much. Beckett should not be an exception to the rules.
OMG, how did I not recognize that voice. It wasn't until I actually saw Michael Dorn that I realized it was him.
I think it's great that Kate went to talk with that counselor. I get tired of characters constantly snubbing their noses at counseling.
This show never ceases to surprise me. It turns cliches on their ear and I am not feeling at all jerked around when it comes to the Beckett/Castle relationship.
I'm sure there is more I could say but that's all I can think of for now.
