I liked JA in Dark Angel, but I felt his character in SPN was too much like his in DA.
One thing about TXF is that Mulder is at least honest about his feelings regarding faith and Scully was the one who did have a specific faith base.
Shows like SPN are just cop outs as far as I'm concerned and wishy-washy about faith.
Shows that treat the bible and cross as he did offend me as a Christian, but even if the ritual was based on another faith I would have liked to see he truly believed in it. I wouldn't have had a problem with it being another spiritual belief that isn't mine.
