Princess Bride

sg_lab2I just started reading The Princess Bride. I've of course seen the movie a few times. The book isn't what I expected. I am realizing William Goldman is a very clever author. He had me believing he was really writing about himself in the beginning of the book and this was really an abridged version of someone elses work. I knew something felt a bit off. The wife was too bizzare for words. The country his father was from. Hmm.
A friend gave me another book for my birthday and I read a few pages of it. Now I'm hooked on it. So now I have three books in progress. Although I haven't read anymore of the third one for a while now. I need to get The Princess Bride read because it is a library book.
