John hit the ground with a hard thunk to his back side. He looked around to get his bearings and realized he was in a cave deep in the forest floor. The forest was so dense he had been separated from his team. Then with one blind step he had tripped and fallen down a hill.
They had detected something in the area. When they found where the energy was coming from they found an abandoned Wraith dart. Deciding that it was best to get out of there they headed back to the gate only to get lost in the forest.
John startled when he heard a noise. He raised his P-90 and turned the corner. His body froze in its place.
“John?”
The voice was familiar. The face looked tired and warn, but it was her; he was certain of that.
“Elizabeth?” The gun dropped from his hands to hang from his tack vest.
“John, what are you doing here?”
John shook his head. “What am I doing here? What are you doing here?”
“I’m on a reconnaissance mission with a group of Assurans,” she said.
“A what?” He frowned. “Elizabeth, we’ve got to get you home. I-we’ve been worried about you,” he dipped his head down. “I’m sorry I left you.”
“You did what I told you to do,” she wrapped a hand around his wrist. “It’s not safe for you to take me back.”
“The Assurans have been reprogrammed to go after the Wraith,” John said. “They’re not interested in us.”
“They’ll come after me,” Elizabeth said biting her lower lip.
“What is it, Elizabeth?” John asked. “What aren’t you telling me?”
She raised her head and looked at John. “They replaced Oberoth.”
“What?”
“I’m their new leader,” she said.
“How? Why?”
“It’s a long story.”
“What are you doing here then?” He asked.
“Actually only a small group replaced Oberoth. We were forced out,” she shrugged.
“Where’s the rest of your group?” He asked.
“Looking for a Wraith.”
“Elizabeth, if it’s such a small group you can come with us. How much of a threat could they be?” He tugged on her arm.
“I can’t,” she pulled back. “They need me.”
John took a step back as if he had been hit.
“We need you,” he startled her when she turned to find him standing inches in front of her.
“John…”
“I need you.”
She froze and he grabbed her shoulders. He pulled her to him until their lips were almost touching. He moved the rest of the way and brushed her lips with his own and then took her into a harsh kiss.
Tongues met and wrestled as she allowed him in. He wrapped his arms around her pressing her body to his.
She pulled back enough to separate their mouths. “We can’t do this,” she said.
“Damn it, Elizabeth. I love you and I’m not letting you go a second time.”
Her head dipped and her hands came up and clutched at the sides of his vest. “I know,” her voice was ruff. “I love you too.”
It was the first time either had admitted it to themselves or each other. They had been friends and nothing more.
Her head came up and she pulled his head down to meet her lips. She pressed her body against his trying to arouse him and it was working. She pulled him over to where she had a blanket and they went down to the floor of the cave.
She pushed him down on his back and spread her body over him. Her hands reached down to his pants and began to unbutton them.
“Elizabeth?”
“Please,” was all she said before continuing what she had started.
She had his pants open and pulled down just enough to reveal his cock. She pushed his shirt up and kissed a trail up his belly.
Sitting up she pulled off her own pants leaving her tunic on. It resembled that of the Assurans.
Elizabeth moved to straddle John’s hips and sank down on his member. They both sucked in a breath.
John’s hands came up and under her shirt until they reached her breasts. He cupped one in his right hand and teased the other with his left.

He teased her within and kept his eyes on hers as a single tear slipped down her face. He watched as she let out a choked off sob coming.
They heard a noise, but continued to stare in each others’ eyes until they heard a noise coming from the other end and they were forced to break eye contact. They dressed quckly.
“Sheppard,” they heard Rodney’s voice coming from the end where the first sound came.
“I have to go,” Elizabeth kissed John. “I love you,” she got up and ran in the opposite direction.
John’s team entered a moment later. “You okay?” Ronon asked helping John stand up.
John’s eyes wandered back to the other end of the cave. “Yeah,” he said catching a look of concern in Teyla’s eyes. He offered her a smile, but he didn’t think he was very convincing. She did not say anything though as they left the cave with Rodney explaining they had found a way off this planet.
