Anyone ever watch Mystery Science Theater 3000? :p I need an eyerolling smiley. ;) Um, So Kanan is on the mainland or something. And he's cured. I guess it's been a month since S&R. Teyla's walking the baby. Don't know who watches the kid when she's busy shooting stuff.
Woolsey arrives. Rather uneventful moment there. He came by Deaedalus. He should just wear a suit for crying out loud.
Jen falls asleep at her computer waking up to goo on her hand. She goes and washes it off not bothering to find out what it is even though she's looking rather concerned.
Meeting in the briefing room. Woolsey had a new table sent for the briefing room. Massive info dump follows. As well as enumerating the ways in which Carter is so awesome. About the first twenty minutes of the episode are spent telling us everything we were wondering after watching S&R. Not enough time what withTeyla's John love fest rescuing Teyla.
Jen's found a cure for clone!Carson. Wonder if she has something to fix his hair. It was a little flat.
Later Teyla can't get Jen to respond to her calls. Teyla gets Rodney to override the lock on Jen's door. Carson's suppose to be returning to Earth because he still has some other medical issues. But he tags along with Teyla and Rodney. Jen has vines all over her and she's not conscious.
Later we find out everyone who went to that planet last week where the building collapsed on them was exposed to a virus. A wraith ship is apparently forming. Carson takes charge of the medical stuff. :)
Teyla and Radek go around in the city because these vine things are spreading. Teyla's back to packing a P-90. Still don't know where the little tyke is though.
Carson comes up with a cure. It's untested, but he uses it on John. The section Jen is in is filled with the vines that attack and had gone after Radek. He had suffered a mild concussion. Phew. Ronon volunteers to give Jen the antidote. Of course he gets caught in the vines and John has to come to the rescue.
In the end Woolsey has violated at least six rules of security.
Doctor Who OMG, that was brilliant. I so missed Donna last week. Bad Wolf. Rose. Can't wait for next week.

Date: 2008-07-19 09:31 pm (UTC)Yeah it's amazing after 4 years that those 2 words still are so meaningful. My whole family and I were all sitting there open mouthed.
That is what makes Doctor Who so freaking awesome. Everything is important. Everything has a purpose. Even simple repeated phrases like 'the bees are disappearing' or 'medusa cascade' or 'bad wolf'. The writers are so clever.
Me and Rob were watching an episode of last years the Sarah Jane Adventures, after watching Turn Left, and almost had a fit when it actually hinted at things that we had just seen in Turn Left.
It stuns me.
Anyone, enough of my flailing. Here be the trailers :)
Two trailers:

And this is a one minute clip that was shown in the middle of the week leading up to the episode:

The BBC are too good to us with the previews...I think they took joy in watching the fandom implode everytime they showed a new one.
BTW the finale episode is over an hour long, so I'm not sure how that will be shown on you SciFi...hopefully they won't cut it.
This weeks is a normal 45 minutes so that should be ok.

Date: 2008-07-19 10:02 pm (UTC)Scifi said it was a two part season finale. So if it's less than two hours I don't know. I've started renting this show anyway because I've heard scifi does a good job of butchering it. I'm trying to rent s3, but Blockbuster isn't giving up the DVDs very fast. Most of them have a long wait listed. I did see the eps. with the Master though and those were the ones I was most interested in.
