I watched SG-1's season 5 eps. Enemies and Threshold. Man those were the good old days. What the heck happened to the dialogue since with Stargate? These two episodes had such sharp witty lines. And I don't recall a single line that was redundant or pointless.

Every week there's a new Atlantis ep. GW has someone put up a thread for each episode asking what the best line was in the eps. Honestly, nothing stands out anymore.

Bad writing? Witty lines is extremely difficult to write. Actually, I think that is the hardest thing to write.
