Summer TV Vs. Fall TV

I caught a few minutes of an episode of Numb3rs from last season tonight. I'm just not feeling the excitement for the next season. In fact I'm not feeling much excitement for most of the major network shows premiering this fall.

I'm kinda curious about the resolution of some cliff hangers, but not that excited.

And then there have been the shows I've been watching this summer on cable. There have been several I've been excited about their premieres and have really enjoyed. Eureka, Doctor Who and Burn Notice to name a few. Heck, even Stargate Atlantis still gives me a little excitement.

I am kinda addicted to Burn NOtice and Ihave no idea why. I mean, it's a good show but it's not usually something I'd be interested in this much. And I'm not even in the online fandom lol.

I'm not a part of the online fandom for it either. I have one other person on my flist who watches it and we might chat about it occassionally, but that's it. That goes for most of the shows I watch anymore. I have maybe one or two people on my flist who enjoy the shows I watch as well and we'll just chat about what we liked and not get too involved in it.

SGA was the first online fandom I got really involved in and I got too emotionally invested in it.

The shows I'm eagerly anticipating coming back aren't back till 2009 (BSG and Ashes To Ashes) Boooo! Lol.

Ooh, I've been wanting to check out Ashes to Ashes, but I haven't found it on DVD or BBC America. :(

I'm kinda interested in CSI's premiere. And BG reminded me of House. :D

Ashes is LOVE! Everytime I've put LOM on to watch it again, I've ended up turning it off about 15 mins into the ep to put Ashes on bc it's so much more shiny, lol. It's out to buy on DVD here and I know the soundtrack is on amazon.com so I assume the dvds would be too. :)

I kinda got bored with CSI during the last season. I doubt the writers strike helped either.

You know, I've never been able to get into House. God knows, BG has tried, LOL. Literally FORCED ME to watch a few eps, but I just don't like it (it's become a constant source of banter between us, lol)

My Mom's penpal from Australia got me Life On Mars because it wasn't here in the US. So I doubt I'll find Ashes here unless BBC America starts airing it.

I've gotten pretty bored with CSI too for the most part. But I'm interested to see what happens with what happened in the season finale. William Peterson is leaving after the ninth ep. I believe. Too much has changed and it's just not doing much for me anymore.

Oh yeah, I'll still watch. It's my once-a-week science class. :P Yeah, I heard that. I think between Jorja, Gary, and Billy going, it's just not the same. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Labrats, but I miss the old dynamic.
