Something suddenly occurred to me yesterday while watching some of the inaugaration coverage, President Obama is only fourteen years older than me. He's the first president in my life time who isn't old enough to be my father or grandfather.

It occurred to me when I was watching ABC news anchor Charles Gibson who was talking to another reporter and they were talking about the fact Obama is younger than them. Well at least I'm not old enough yet where the next president could have been younger than me. :D

He's only 11 years older than me. How crazy is that????? This will be a different kind of presidency, just from that mere fact I think. His thinking will be shaped by generation closer to our age group. Can't wait to see where we end up.
