Summary: A missing scene to Morpheus. Cam and Daniel talk about Vala being put on the team

Cameron checked the halls of the SGC. Finding them clear for the moment he slipped down the hall to Daniel’s quarters. It had been ten hours since the team had been returned from Vagonbrei.
They had slept for eight hours straight in the infirmary after the parasite had been taken care of. It was a concession on Dr. Lam’s part to allow them to return to their quarters while they had to stay on the base for another twenty-four hours for observation after they woke up.
Cameron slipped into Daniel’s quarters finding the archeologist asleep on his bed. Cam couldn’t hold back the grin seeing Daniel with a book opened and resting face down across his chest. His glasses were slightly askew with the side of his head pressed against the pillow. He had his black t-shirt on and green BDU’s. His boots were the only thing he wasn’t wearing.
After they had woken up they had eaten a good meal. Still feeling drowsy they had departed for their quarters. Cameron had fallen asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. He had only woken up ten minutes earlier and decided to see how Daniel was doing.
Stepping over to the bed, Cam reached over and lifted the book off Daniel’s chest and placed it on his desk. Daniel moved his arms wrapping them across his chest. Cam then very carefully removed Daniel’s glasses. He checked them once he had them off to make sure Daniel hadn’t done any damage and once satisfied placed them down on the desk next to the book.
Cameron took off his boots and sat down on the edge of the bed. He grimaced when he jostled the bed. A pair of eyes opened looking up at him in confusion. “Hi,” was all Cam could think to say.
“Uh hi,” Daniel blinked. “What are you doing here?”
“I missed you,” Cam pouted.
Daniel made a noise that sounded like an agreement. He pushed himself up enough to kiss Cam.
“So I should be nice to Vala?”
Daniel frowned. “You want to talk about this now?”
“She handcuffed you to her and you want me to tell her tomorrow she’s on the team,” Cameron said with a sour look on his face.
“That was a year ago,” Daniel said kissing Cam again. “You and I weren’t even together at the time. She’s changed…kinda.”
“She’s still trying to seduce you,” Cam said.
“It won’t work,” Daniel moved his hand down to Cam’s fly only to have it batted away.
“Changing the subject?” Cam accused.
“Trying,” Daniel smirked.
“She’s on probation until I say so,” Cameron said moving to lie on his side next to Daniel. He then yawned.
Daniel sighed. “So, sleep?”
“Yep,” Cam said on another yawn resting his head on Daniel’s shoulder. “We’ll tell her in the morning.”
“And you’ll promise to be nice,” Daniel stressed. Cam made a noise that sounded like agreement before Daniel drifted off with him.
