The math thing I wrote in because I've had the experience Joey had as a kid. My dad is great at math but terrible at teaching it. I remember him trying to teach me long division. It did not go over so well. :D
It was going to be Sam but then I decided to go for the not so obvious choice of Jack. I can see him being patient with a kid helping him with math.
