Cameron reached over and turned off the alarm clock a minute before it was suppose to turn off. Looking over to his right he could just see the top of Daniel’s head out from under the covers.
Cam leaned over and pressed a kiss to the top of his lover’s head and only to get a light stirring. Cam grinned and got up figuring he’d give Daniel a few more minutes. A combination of working late and icy roads kept Daniel out late and he hadn’t had much sleep.
Walking out of their room Cam was greeted by Joe’s dog Sam. The dog barked and stood on his hind legs with his front paws on Cam’s chest.
“Get down,” Cam lightly scolded. “Come on; let’s see if Joe’s awake yet.”
Cam knocked on Joe’s door. It opened a second later to a bleary eyed sixteen year old. “Up and at’um. Sam needs to be walked.”
“Be right there,” Joe mumbled.
Sam slipped into Joe’s room just before the teen shut it.
Cam walked to Tracy’s door opening it. “Tracy.” He entered the five year old’s room to find Tracy digging in the bottom of her dresser drawer. “Tracy, what did we say about that dress?”
Tracy had just pulled out her favorite summer dress. She looked up at Cam with her big green eyes hope shining in them. Too bad Cam was about to stomp on that hope. “Tracy, put it back.”
“Please?” She was using her pleading voice.
“No,” Cam stood firm.
“But…”
“No,” Cam repeated. “Tracy Ann Wilson,” he cut in knowing she was about to say something else.
Tracy’s shoulders slumped and her head dipped down. She took great pains to show just how miserable she was in her slow plodding back to the drawer as she put the dress back in its drawer.
“You’ll thank me later,” Cam said. “Now I’m sure we can find something you love.”
“Cam!” Joe shouted from the hall.
“I’ll be right back and when I am I want to see some winter clothes to choose from,” Cam said to Tracy. He and Daniel let Tracy pick her clothes on condition of their approval.
Cam stepped out into the hall where Joe stood with Sam holding his leash. “Aren’t you supposed to be walking Sam?”
“It’s snowing,” Joe said.
“It does that in December,” Cam said.
“No, it’s really snowing,” Joe said. “As in ‘school’s canceled’ snowing.”
“Come on,” Cam gestured towards the stairs. They went downstairs to look outside. Sure enough, there was a thick blanket of snow developing. He knew he should have watched the news last night. “Turn on the TV and see if the schools are closed.”
Cam and Joe sat down in front of the TV waiting see if Joe and Tracy’s schools were closed. “There’s Tracy’s,” Joe pointed to the screen.
“And there’s yours,” Cam said a couple minutes later.
Daniel appeared, hair in disarray and eyes drooping. “We don’t have to go into work,” he said.
“That’s good,” Cam said. “Because I don’t think we’d get out of the street,” he gestured toward the unplowed street. “Come on Joe; you still need to take Sam out and then feed him. Tracy,” he said suddenly.
“I got her,” Daniel offered. “You can shovel.”
Cameron glared at his lover’s retreating back.
“I’ll help,” Joe offered.
Cam patted Joe on the back before heading upstairs to get dressed.

Cameron was frozen. He wondered if his toes were still attached. He was almost certain his fingers weren’t. The snow kept coming and he knew he would be back out here later in the day shoveling more. With one more scoop, he dumped the last of the snow from the driveway into the yard.
Joe had already finished his half of the shoveling and had taken Sam back into the house a few minutes earlier. Cam made the slow trek up the driveway putting the shovel in the garage. He was glad they had invested in two shovels.
A few moments later Cam was met at the front door by Daniel.
“Stop right there,” Daniel said as Cam stepped onto the rug. He helped Cam out of his layers of coats. Placing Cam’s hands between his own, Daniel rubbed them. Cam started to feel the blood returning to his fingers.
Cam was helped out of his boots and wet socks. “Here,” Daniel handed him a clean thick pair of socks.
“Got any other ways to warm me up?” Cam asked.
Daniel eyed him. “That is the lamest come on I have ever heard.”
Cam shrugged. “Give me a break, I feel like a popsicle.
“Come to the kitchen when you’re ready, I’ve got breakfast ready.”
Cam sat down on a foot rest and put on his socks.
SB
Entering the kitchen Cam took a deep breath smelling the breakfast. Joe was just finishing his food and Tracy was at the table with her crayons and coloring books.
“Coffee?” Daniel handed him a hot cup.
“Thank you,” he kissed Daniel.
“Cameron!” Tracy got up and ran towards him. “Can I play outside?”
Cam looked down at those pleading big green eyes. He did not want to go back out there.
Daniel placed a plate in Cam’s free hand. “I’ll take her out in a little while.”
Cam was obviously a sap because he was certain he had just fallen in love with Daniel again.
“I know, you love me and I will be well rewarded later,” Daniel gave Cam a rather smug smile.
“Blech, you two, get a room,” Joe whined.
Cam sat down at the table where Tracy followed him. “Daniel will take you out in a little while.”
Tracy squealed happily.
“Indoor voice,” Cameron and Daniel said in unison.
“Come on squirt,” Joe said. “I’ll help you get into your snow suit.”
“Make sure she goes to the bathroom first!” Cam yelled at the retreating figures.
Daniel came over and sat down next to Cameron. “Good morning,” Daniel said.
Cameron grinned and pressed his lips to Daniel’s.
Joe stuck his head inside the kitchen long enough to say, “Daniel, you better be ready soon.”
“Later tonight,” Cam promised.
“I’m holding you to that,” Daniel stood up.
“Of course,” Cam agreed. “You still need to warm me up.”
Daniel shook his head as he exited the kitchen.

Once Cam was finished with his breakfast he poured another cup of coffee and went into the living room. He sat down in the recliner where he would have a good view of the front yard through the picture window. The snow had slowed down and the sun was making an effort to come out.
He caught sight of Daniel following Tracy in her purple coat. She wasn’t much more than a blob of purple buried in her snow suit and coat with the hood on. He smiled as she toppled over face first into the snow and Daniel pulled her giggling form up.
“Cam,” Joe walked into the living room holding the cordless phone. “Sam’s on the phone. Is it all right if I go over to Susan’s? Her mom’s home today.” Joe had been dating Susan for the past month. They met at the beginning of the school year. Freshman year had been rough on Joe and he had to find some new friends. His sophomore year was starting off better with some new friends and Susan was one of them.
“Sure,” Cam said. Susan only lived a couple blocks away. “But be home before dark; I don’t want you caught out in this weather late. Okay?”
“Yeah,” Joe agreed reluctantly. “Thanks.”
Cam nodded before the teen rushed off to get his coat. He put the phone up to his ear then. “Hey Sam. How’s it going?” He talked with her for awhile as he continued to watch Daniel and Tracy in the front yard.
By the time he ended his conversation with Sam, Daniel and Tracy had half a snowman built. While Talking with Sam she was sitting in her living room watching Jack play in the snow with their twins.
The snowman was finished and Daniel was now carrying Tracy towards the front door. Cam got up off the recliner to meet them at the door.
“Have fun?” He asked taking Tracy from Daniel.
“It was an experience,” Daniel ever the diplomat.
“Did you see our snowman Cameron?” Tracy asked as he helped her out of her snowsuit.
“Yep,” Cam said. “That’s the best snowman I’ve seen in years.
“How about some hot chocolate?” Cam suggested as soon as they were out of their winter coats.
“Yeah!” Tracy jumped up and down.
Daniel followed them holding his glasses in his hands while the fog on the lenses cleared.
SB
The snow started up again by lunch and it didn’t look like it was going to stop anytime soon. Cameron went into the family room and started a fire in the fireplace after lunch. Tracy followed sitting down on the floor next to her toy box and pulled out a pile of toys.
“Can Melissa come over?” Tracy asked of her friend who lived a block away.
“Sorry honey,” Cam said. “But the snow is really coming down and I don’t think Melissa’s mom’s going to want to trek all the way out here in it.
“It’s only a block away,” Tracy protested.
“I know,” Cam said. “But she’s got to put on all her snow gear and our street hasn’t been plowed yet and they would have to walk. Tomorrow’s Saturday. Maybe she can come over then.”
“Okay,” Tracy’s shoulders slumped.
Daniel wandered in with two cups of coffee and sat down on the couch next to Cameron handing him a cup. He looked at Tracy and then at Cam a question in his face.
“Tracy wanted Melissa to come over,” Cam said.
“Ah,” Daniel said softly.
Eventually Tracy moved onto the overstuffed chair next to the couch and curled up. Soon she was sound asleep.
Cam put up his legs across the couch and leaned back against Daniel closing his eyes.
“Falling asleep?” Daniel wrapped his arms around Cam’s shoulders.
“Yep, I’m gonna have to shovel again soon,” Cam said.
SB
Joe came home later before dark as he promised and they had dinner a short time later. The teen retreated to his room to watch some TV after dinner and Daniel and Cameron returned to the family room with Tracy to play with her for awhile. Sam plopped down on the floor of the family room having just been taken on a short walk.
When it was approaching Tracy’s bedtime Daniel took her to get her bath and get into her pajamas and Cam went out one more time to shovel.
There wasn’t nearly as much snow this time and it didn’t take Cam very long to clear the driveway and sidewalk. By the time he came in Tracy was ready for bed. The two men walked with her to Joe’s room so she could say goodnight.
“Be sure to take Sam out once more before you go to bed,” Cam reminded Joe before they said their goodnights.
Cam and Daniel tucked Tracy in each giving her a kiss goodnight before they retreated to their own room.
Cam watched Daniel close and lock the door. He felt Daniel’s arms wrap around his waist pulling him close and pressing a kiss to his lips. “Gonna warm me up?” Cam smirked.
“That or the both of us,” Daniel said walking Cam back towards the bed.
Cam hit the mattress spreading his arms out. Daniel kneeled between Cam’s spread legs removing Cam’s shirt before pulling his jeans and underwear with them.
“Wanna take off some of your own clothes?” Cam said.
Daniel obliged and lay on top of Cam. Cam could feel their cocks pressed together and bucked up.
It had been a good day. Work could be so hectic leaving them little time to spend with the kids or each other.
“Feeling any warmer?” Daniel asked.
Cam tried to speak but could only gasp as his lover surprised him wrapping his hand around his cock. “Oh yeah, definitely getting there.”
“Good,” Daniel crawled down Cam’s body.
Cam opened his mouth to protest but again found himself unable to speak as he felt Daniel’s warm moist mouth take him in. He caught a glimpse of the snow falling outside the half shaded window lit by a street light before his attention was again taken to other pleasures- pleasures that were sure to keep him warm for a long time to come.
