Fox? Yeah that's gonna work out well. [sarcasm] If John Barrowman stars in this they're gonna neuter Captain Jack. I don't see this going well.

I was reading about it yesterday and the only problem is the channel.. with that people behind it, it could actually go somewhere in other channel. I don't know, I'm gonna wait until we know details about it but if this was for HBO or Showtime I'd be more positive.

Yeah, Torchwood has never really been that explicit anyway but the major TV networks in the US would likely be scared of a character like Jack Harkness.

In fact if Jack were heterosexual and this was on American network tv show there'd probably be even more focus on his sex life than what was actually shown on Torchwood. And he'd probably have a new woman to bed every episode.

Originally I was like OMG why can't the Americans leave our really awesome TV shows alone...Now I'm not that bothered because Fox will cancel it after one series.

LOL. I remember thinking around the first season of Torchwood that the US would never have a TV show with a character like Jack in the lead. And we probably still won't. ;)

OH you know they'll water down Jack so completely to protect the delect sensibilities of the US audience. ;)

NOt that that will save it of course, it is network television after all.
