SGU And a Movie

I haven't been watching episodes of Stargate Universe since episode seven. But tonight as I planned to do months ago I watched ep. 16 Sabotage. This is the one with the quadriplegic scientist who switches with Camile so she can be on the Destiny to help.
Well, some things were different from what the sides had originally said one being the character's name. Other than that she didn't flirt with Eli and try to get him to have sex and she and Rush did not have sex. Although she did try a little with Rush but he kindly turned her down so they just ended up hugging. She had had a crush on Rush for some time.
So the character was much more toned down than what was originally put out at least. But it still had the 'fixing a character so she's useful' trope that I continue to object to.
On Camile's end it was kind of boring really. I'm just not that interested in characters' romantic relationships. She just sat in the living room the whole time having some conversations with her girlfriend. It had its moments having to be in the body of a quadriplegic but nothing that interesting.
On a side note not directly related to this episode. I cannot believe they added the actress who plays TJ's pregnancy in the show. I'm somewhat morbidly curious as to how they're going to deal with a pregnant character considering tptb's 'brilliant' track record on that. ;)
I watched a great movie tonight. 'Catch Me If You Can'. I became curious about it when I heard the tv show White Collar being compared to it.
It really is a great comparison. FBI agent tracking down white collar criminal. Develops into an interesting relationship which leads the criminal to be eventually released into the custody of the FBI agent so the criminal can work with the FBI until his time is served.
The movie is more about the chase although has a little bit about the time the criminal works with the FBI. While the TV show White Collar is about the criminal working with the FBI to help solve crimes.
I think it would be interesting to see a little bit on the tv show White Collar of the time when the FBI agent was tracking down the criminal.
