Torchwood in America

Just saw a long promo of the new Torchwood now set in America instead of Cardiff Wales. I think it premieres in July on Starz. I'm interested in checking it out.

Is it with the same cast as before- or is this a USA version of the show?

It has Jack, Gwen and her husband Rhys (same actors) with a few new characters. Mekhi Phifer is the only new cast member I'm familiar with.

Did you watch last year's mini Torchwood series 'Children of Earth'? It shows what happened to it.
