Annoying Advertisements

sg_lab2I am really getting tired of advertisements of new shows or returning shows popping up at the bottom of my TV screen. I keep getting freaked out by a blue ballooned latex glove with a smiley face floating up from the bottom of my screen. Others just have these massive images appear at the bottom of my screen.
I remember one year some network would have a character from one of the shows on the network at the bottom corner and then a sudden explosion of sort of confetti like white stuff would surround them.
Networks, stop it already.
Although also on the subject of advertising in the middle of a tv show, I am probably the only one who doesn't notice when a show is using a car in a scene to highlight the car because it is a major advertiser for the show. It just goes right over my head.
